Love

Sitting in the middle of this dark moonlit night, with this cold breeze of the New Year Eve falling on my face; I questioned my heart, “What is it that you are missing the most in life?”

The heart skipped a beat even at the thought of that one name, but couldn’t answer. I know my heart this much that I could guess what it was thinking of.

I warned my heart, “Don’t get into this game, you might end up in pieces.” To which my heart replied, “It’s better to be shattered in Love than not to Love at all.”

PS. I found this scribbled on a paper in my bag, along with the poem above. It was written around 2 and half years back.
