The sight is majestic if there is one in the frame; of an eye or of the camera. One of the most delicately crafted creature on earth, as if it was created by the Creator to let everyone else know of His mastery. Have you noticed the detailing of the feathers, eyes, the well crafted neck or the crown; and the colour coordination used by the Creator? I must say, when I see a peacock I am spellbound…Always! The way it walks shows how proud it is for being the one making everyone go awestruck at its beauty.
So my recent ‘adda’ (the hangout venue) has been the JNU campus, because it never fails to make peacock(s) cross my way. I love to play the hide and seek with them. I don’t know if they are shy or less-friendly, but the fact is that they keep hiding away. Or maybe is this mystery about them that attracts me more 😉
I have a different opinion on Shakespeare’s quote “what’s in the name?”. I have said it earlier also that I feel the name has an influence on the personality of an individual. I have come across a few whose name meant Peacock. Peacock as a bird or as a ‘person’ makes me awestruck…for the beauty of the former and for the ‘confused state of mind’ of the latter. But the weird experiences with the latter did not let my love for the former fade away.
Nature has its own way of making you feel at peace. I consider this whole category of animals and bird a part of nature.
